Michael Sayles and Aimie Wright, the photographers behind Lakeland Landscape, have been taking photographs for many years. Through Lakeland Landscape they are able to combine their stunning photography with their love for the Lake District.
Michael & Aimie strive to find that special component that makes a good photograph great, sharing their individual strengths to maximum effect, and, importantly, looking into a scene, rather than just looking at it.
A great photograph should be worth more than the sum of its parts. It should be more than a mere record - it should inspire. Given a beautiful subject, and a sound knowledge of composition and exposure, most people could take a good photograph. However, as Ansel Adams once stated, "you don't take a photograph, you make it". These beliefs are the root of the great photography Michael & Aimie produce, as they combine their ability with their passion, the Lake District.
As well as supplying limited-edition prints to the public, Michael & Aimie's images are used commercially, and you may well have seen their work on book covers, in magazines, brochures, guides, on product packaging, or accompanying articles which they have written. Their images are also available from the international picture library Alamy. For more details about purchasing prints and commercial sales visit the Sales page.
